I grew up on light English ale, but ……… I can no longer drink beer at all unless it’s a gluten free beer as I was diagnosed as a coeliac 4 years ago. Luckily I’m currently sitting in the Spitting Feathers Brewery Tap ale house in the Roman city of Chester. They brew several GF ales regularly https://www.spittingfeathers.co.uk/beers
