It seems we have an early English summer and the alpine plants are thriving in our rockery.

How lovely. What is the name of the lavender and white flower? I love it.

Beautiful! You’re so lucky to have English spring. All we have blooming here in Alberta are snowdrops, although the tulips are thinking about bursting into bloom.

Hello Margaret, I guess we’ve been through the snowdrop, tulips and daffodils phase! But now we’ve had a long period of maybe 6 weeks of fine warm days. I’ve planted out my runner bean and French bean plants today as there doesn’t appear to be any frost forecast for May, but I could be pushing my luck! Are you keeping OK?
