Macro Monday in an English garden

It seems we have an early English summer and the alpine plants are thriving in our rockery.

  1. How lovely. What is the name of the lavender and white flower? I love it.

  2. Beautiful! You’re so lucky to have English spring. All we have blooming here in Alberta are snowdrops, although the tulips are thinking about bursting into bloom.

    • Hello Margaret, I guess we’ve been through the snowdrop, tulips and daffodils phase! But now we’ve had a long period of maybe 6 weeks of fine warm days. I’ve planted out my runner bean and French bean plants today as there doesn’t appear to be any frost forecast for May, but I could be pushing my luck! Are you keeping OK?
