2. Two weddings, one “dress”

Two weddings, two photos, two different people. One in a Glasgow Registry Office in 1971, the other at a Buddhist temple, Swayambhu in Kathmandu 2009. Only the saree wedding dress is the same, pure silk, red and gold, passed from mother to daughter after 38 years. No colour prints from our own wedding but plenty from our daughters special day.
