I have never been to the beaches of Dunkirk before, though my dad spent a few days here in June 1940! Mine is just a quick day trip, including an hour at the small Operation Dynamo Museum en route deeper into France, but I would be pleased if you read and commented on my dad’s “little holiday” here I have previously written about: My Dad Wore a Bright Red Jacket and a Big Black Hat!
