Splash photography at Paddington Station
Something for the weekend for my eclectic and diversity focused followers. Having an interest in splash photography opens one’s eyes (pun intended) to the detailed content of what a photographer sees through the lens, especially in terms of colour. It sounds crazy but I was initially struck by all of the grey, blue-grey, black metal in this view of London’s Paddington station, before recognising the intense yellow staring at me from the information screens. This is the fascination of splash photography, and although most colour is REMOVED from the image it heightens one’s senses to colour perception.
