Saturday is another international wine tasting day ….. for Chenin Blanc. So what will you be drinking, a South African varietal or a village wine like Savennieres from the Loire Valley? Mine’s a Savennieres, bought on our wine travels at the Bourgeuil wine festival in 2015 where I also shared a large glass or two with Bacchus before moving on to the Maison du Vins de Bourgueil. This 2013 Savennieres is a little young, but hey, plenty more in our cellar!
