WP Photochallenge: Out of This World with a Macro Lens

I have always enjoyed macro photography, even introducing our children to this “Other World” of insects, fungus, leaves, algae, butterflies …. So here now are two recent ones, a Shield Bug and a freshly emerged fungus out of a bed of leaves. You could be on a different planet, different scale …..

    I do a little bit of gardening and saw this guy on a plant. So, Shield Bug it is. Hope it won’t eat my plants.
