A big advantage of a hard frost is that you don’t get your wellies dirty and are not fast every stride in leg sucking mud across Cotswolds ploughed fields. But the really BIG advantage is from all of the colours and light-shade opportunities there are for photographs and yesterday was perfect. Two hours and four miles ……. enjoy!

Yes Josy bleeding freezing actually! Next day I bought some fingerless gloves which make it still ok to operate my camera. Are you on Instagram? We are @twodoctors if you want to look and follow.

Interesting. Looks very cold, but it has that barren beauty of the Northern Hemisphere at times.

It was very cold with the wind chill making the temperature around -5C degrees. Didn’t take any gloves as I was using the camera and got badly chapped hands!! Idiot!

Yes, very lucky to spot the egg in a ploughed field because on days like this I am looking up, down, sideways for photo opportunities πππ«
